Description

Sam Schwartz (right) and Alex Swartz (left) sort through mail sent to the pharmacy by soldiers serving during WWII. The letters and postcards were then shared with the community who would stop by the store to learn first-hand news from the warfront.
Alex Swartz was Sam’s brother-in-law, and was the store’s general manager.
