Sherri Bester talks about her experience during the COVID-19 pandemic in Madison, Wisconsin. She describes how the uncertainty and disorder of the pandemic affects her mentally and brings up feelings from various parts of her life, going all the way back to childhood. Sherri emphasizes her belief in the need for love, forgiveness, and connection in this moment. She speaks to her experience as a survivor of sexual abuse living with PTSD and shares how she draws upon prayer, music and dance, reading, and other resources for strength.
